Thanks for the information. Careful vacuuming together with a paintbrush will be good method in our situation after winter shutdown. Then just a paintbrush dusting during the opening months. I am not an expert on plastic, but I know plastics are not all the same. The storage methods for one type may not work as well for another. I suggest contacting a plastics company or a company that manufactures the items you have if those companies still exist. Another suggestion is to contact people ...

I appreciate your comments. You have mentioned several that will be very helpful, the "target practice" one in particular. I will add to that, to have docents/guides keep the pointer on the item/exhibit for a minimum time necessary. It seems the longer the "dwell time", the more shaky the dot becomes. ...
