Biography

Halina Piasecki (she/her) holds a B.A. in Classical Studies from Bard College, where she graduated in 2018. Halina is currently completing an M.A. in Art History and a M.S. in Conservation Science at the Conservation Center at New York University's Institute of Fine Arts. She will graduate in 2026. Halina specializes in objects conservation, and has worked with a broad array of materials, from ancient archaeological objects to modern and contemporary art. She has completed pre-program and graduate conservation experience at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, the Northwest Bolsena Archaeological Project, the Brooklyn Museum, NYU Villa la Pietra, the Archaeological Park of Selinunte in Western Sicily, the Central Park Conservancy, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and the Museum of Chinese in America.
