Marc Walton is a professor of Museum Studies at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Prior to joining HKU, Marc was Head of Conservation at M+. From 2013 to 2002, he was Co-Director of the Center for Scientific Studies in the Arts (NU-ACCESS) and Research Professor of Materials Science at Northwestern University. He earned a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford following an MA in art history, as well as a diploma in the conservation of works of art, from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.
