I am doing research on how microfading on texture can be examined. Specifically on painted textiles. Currently most texts explain that microfading needs a flat surface and that gloss and texture affect the reflectance of the light but do not go into detail on this information. If anyone has any advice on where to look for information specifically on how texture effects the understanding of the use of micro fading that would be appreciated!
