Laser Discussion Group

We are dedicated to advancing the use of laser technologies in art and heritage conservation, and to fostering communication and collaboration among communities engaged in laser-based conservation interventions and treatments. We seek to promote the development of an American presence within the more established international laser conservation community. By encouraging dialogue on both technical topics (such as sourcing, use, and maintenance of laser equipment) and practical considerations (including user experience and advice), we hope to serve as a valuable resource for professionals at all levels-from prospective and emerging users to seasoned experts.

We are part of AIC's Research and Technical Studies Group, but we welcome participation from a global audience, including individuals who are not members of AIC.
