Hi, Bryan, I had studied light stability of modern photographic materials using Xe-MFT, and compared the results with my colleagues' R&R study in ISO TC42 WG5 (using standard Xe-light exposure chamber). In general, MFT test conditions are limited to moderately stable color photographic prints (dye inkjet, ...

Hi, Shiho, To report a MFT test result, I think reporting the type of light source used for the test is more important, Xe MFT with UV-IR band filter (in my case, the measured CCT is ~5000K), or LED MFT. In the case of LED MFT, do mention the CCT spec of the LED used in the MFT, 2700K, 3000K, 400k or ...

Hi, Shiho, I am sharing my understanding here. I think what's more important than CCT is the light profile that will be used for the final display, which is somewhat correlated to the CCT of the light source, but not always exactly. If the display will be using daylight through UV filtered windows, then ...

Hi, Catherine and Noni, I do not have any good ref. standard. I heard someone in Europe was trying to find replacement reference materials, and was unable to get into the commercial market; I guess it is too small for mass production with commercial profit. Alternative might be relying on relative ...

Hi, Ms. Zachri, What is the light source of your MFT? I assume it is LEDs for Instytut Fotonowy MFT. If so, I suggest avoiding using Bluewool reference, since it is designed for Xe light source (not sure D65 or D50), which include some UV components. But the LED light source does not apply. In addition, ...
