Vanessa Muros received a BA in Archaeology from Boston University and an MA in Archaeology from University College London. She then pursued a graduate degree in art conservation specializing in the conservation of archaeological and ethnographic objects at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL.. She has worked in museums both in the UK and US, and has served as a conservator for archaeological projects most recently in Greece and Peru. She is currently the director of the Experimental and Archaeological Sciences Lab (EASL) at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, UCLA.
