I received a Bachelors in History from Texas A&M-Killeen in 2015 and a Masters in Archival studies this year. As a military spouse, I moved numerous times between 2000-2016. I was able to visit many cultural institutions during this time that has increased my interest in conservation and protecting the historical footprint left behind. I became interested in conservation after a class taken at Clayton State University. I was able to visit many institutions in North Georgia and discuss emergency plans among these archives. I look forward to being a part of an important part of sustaining records through conservation.
