Kamila M. Korbela is the owner and principal paintings conservator at LA Art Labs (LAAL). She has been treating paintings and sculptures in encyclopedic public as well as private collections in Europe and America since 2006.
After completing her graduate training in conservation with a specialization in paintings and sculptures at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart (GER), Kamila held positions at institutions, such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC), the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK), the Universalmuseum Joanneum and the German Government.
LAAL oversees the physical well-being of some of the most significant private and corporate collections of art as well as holdings at major museums notable for their collection’s incredible sophistication and breadth. For almost two decades Kamila M. Korbela has cared for and treated artworks nationally for their public appreciation and internationally through local museums’ enterprising loan programs to institutions around the world.
Besides of private, corporate and museum clients, LAAL's client portfolio further includes government entities, artists, their studios and foundations, galleries, art dealers, auction houses and individuals with conservation needs.
