Lisa studied traditional bookbinding at North Bennet Street School in Boston and has an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She’s worked in book and paper conservation labs in the Northeast and Midwest, including Iowa State University, the Boston Athenæum, the Northeast Document Conservation Center, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Research Center, and the Wisconsin Historical Society. She’s also worked in an art museum, at a fine press printing studio, attended Rare Book School, and studied historical preservation and painting techniques in San Gemini, Italy.
