Biography

Nicolette Meister is Director of the Logan Museum of Anthropology at Beloit College where she teaches in the Museum Studies Program. She has taught collections care and grant writing for the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies and International Preservation Studies Center and has presented numerous presentations and workshops focused on collections management and care. She advocates for the advancement of academic and small museums through publications, teaching, and committee service. She is on the board of the Beloit Historical Society, where she chairs their collections committee and co-chairs the Stateline Small Museums Conference. She has a MS in Museum and Field Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BA in Anthropology from UW-Milwaukee._x000d_ _x000d_ As the Center’s Faculty Director, Nicolette is responsible for course development and assessment, instructor recruitment, and course logistics.
