Al Carver-Kubik is a Program Officer at Environment & Culture Partners. His expertise is on sustainable collection storage, display, and transit environments as well as print and photographic materials. He received his M.A. in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management from Ryerson University in co-ordination with the George Eastman Museum. He was a preservation researcher at Image Permanence Institute for ten years and a Senior Program Officer at the National Endowment for the Humanities for over two years. He was 2008-2009 Graduate Intern at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
