I am a preparator specializiing in the production and maintenance of natural history exhibitions that include collections objects as well as original art. This practice includes mount making and some object treatment.
I studied art and biology at the University of California, Davis.
After graduation I worked as an artist and biological illustrator specializing in fish anatomy. I trained and worked as a preparator in the Exhibitions department of the American Museum of Natural History from 2005 to 2011, and have been an exhibitions preparator at the California Academy of Sciences since 2011.
