Imaging Working Group

Leadership  More Information

  • Supports the conservation community in their discovery and understanding of imaging-related topics and endeavors by increasing communication and encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration;
  • Identifies and addresses, through sustainable collaboration, the challenges that conservators encounter related to imaging resources, practices and objectives;
  • Encourages a consistently high level of conservation imaging by providing resources, solutions, and community through testing, training and standardization.

We established our Imaging Working Group (IWG) in the Spring of 2020 to recognize imaging's importance to the ethical and evolving practice of conservation and to help support conservation professionals in their knowledge of imaging technologies, applications and practices.

Many people volunteer with the Imaging Working Group to help build out the Imaging section of the AIC Wiki. Connect with other imaging experts and specialists in the Imaging Working Group community.
