Registration will be located in the Uncas Ballroom Foyer. Desk hours are:

Nursing Mothers Room

This year, we will have a dedicated nursing mothers' room with a small refrigerator. See the program on page 1 and map on page 60.


You can buy tickets online at any time throughout the meeting at Visit registration to pick up your ticket to add to your badge. 

Code of Conduct

We have a Code of Conduct in place. You can read it online in our Registration Policies.


Pack for weather in the mid-50s to mid-60s, including comfortable shoes for outdoor receptions.

  2. Familiarize yourself with the general schedule.

    Wednesday: Opening sessions, luncheons, specialty sessions, Opening Reception
    Thursday: Specialty sessions, luncheons, concurrent general sessions, specialty group receptions
    Friday: Specialty sessions all day, luncheon, closing session
  3. Build your own personal schedule in Sched.
    Check regularly as schedules change and new information is added.
  4. Download the App.
    The Sched app is available in both Apple and Google Play (Android) stores.
  5. Post in the “47th Annual Meeting" Community.

  6. Purchase any additional tickets.
    Buy your tickets to the Specialty Group receptions, luncheons, workshops, and tours. You can also buy guest tickets for tours and receptions. You can add ticketed events to your registration by going to the registration page. If you are experiencing trouble adding ticketed events, please email us to add it to your account.
  7. Book Hotel Room.
    If you have not already done so, please book your hotel room as soon as possible so you don't miss out on AIC rates.
  8. Plan your visits to the Exhibit Hall.
    The complete exhibitor list is available online. We are opening the Exhibit Hall with a special reception on Tuesday, May 14, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The show will remain open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, May 15 and 16. Learn about the latest in products and services for the conservation field by visiting the Exhibit Hall.
         Also, be sure to stop by the Health and Safety Committee booth. The H&S Committee will again have representatives of the CONN-OSHA Onsite Program joining them in their booth. This year we welcome Richard Crans and Marigrace Riley (Wednesday) and Anne Bracker and Savita Trivedi (Thursday). They will be answering health and safety questions from members and providing information about OSHA OnSite services nationwide. Please stop by and say hello.
  9. Network with Colleagues.
    Plan to attend one or more of the evening receptions, including the Opening Reception that is included with your registration.
  10. Post about the meeting.
    Use our hashtag #AICmtg19 to share your experience with others, and sign up to write a blog post about some of the sessions!

Notes About Driving to Mohegan Sun

The Mohegan Sun has acres of free parking. However, getting from the lot to the hotel may involve boarding a shuttle bus. Feel free to take advantage of the free Valet Parking that is available to all hotel guests. It's much more convenient, especially if you are carrying extra items! Remember to bring a few dollars to tip the drivers when you drop off and retrieve your car.

If you are taking a tour or workshop and plan to drive yourself, please let us know ASAP! We plan to provide transportation for participants unless otherwise listed. Write to with your plans.
